Can't help with the VIN number.
The only one I knew that could help with that is Matt Moore at KMW but I'm not sure he still can or not.

You can also contact Ed Williamson a/k/a "Airbrush ED" he did a great job on my 2006 Mastiff rear fender. The color he told me he used was Black Cherry Kandy, which is the color of my Bike. He was a painter at BDM when it went under. He is also a member on here. Look for his web site under members.
