improper oil lie routing from BDM

I have new 07 pitbull was in for 500 mile service from dealer the other day, dealer told me that there had been some bikes leave the factory with wrong oil lines routing, thay showed me some mew 07 pitbulls setting on floor with feed line from tank intering top of oil pump & some entering the bottom of oil pump, about half the bikes there were one way the other half oppisite, now the dealer said pump feedline should be mounted as low as possible on bikes with lower oil tank, bikes with top mounted oil tank o k to install on top of oil pump, makes sence thay ordered new fitttings & oil line, but my bike makes great oil pressure any info
