Have a few questions hopfhopef someone can answer .First I have an 04 chopper .Its hard to ride free way speeds cross winds make it hard to control. Tar strips suck just as bad. Some one in my group thinks it's because of the skinny front tire thoughts
I got to thinking about this last night. More than likely, you just need to get use to the bike. My 03 had a DT frame, and when I got my 04, it had an RT frame, and the difference in the ride was night and day. Took me a month to get use to the difference in the ride. It's kind of hard to tell by the picture, but it looks like you have the RT frame like mine, which rides a little softer. A set of shocks might help you, where you can adjust the ride. There are a couple vendors on here that have all the parts you need for these bikes, and you'll learn them as you research on here, but for the shocks get with the Kaptin at Wild Steed Worxs for your shocks.

Another thing I want you to do is check you frame over real good for cracks. Check the back bone in front of the battery, and the rear of the frame at the swing arm supports at the bottom. Also check for looseness in your neck bearings.
These are bar none the finest riding choppers out there today. The engineering that went into them was second to none. We ride these bikes like crotch rockets in these twisty Missouri hills, destroying foot pegs and scraping frames and exhaust all the time. You'll get use to it.
Also noticed you need some new rubber on your foot pegs. Go to the hardware store and get some silicone rubber hose, or order it off the internet. I might have a part number if you can't find any. Cut 3/4'' long rings and slide them on. Silicone rubber will last longer, and hold your feet on the pegs better.
