When I saw those posts about 530 this morning I thought to myself that harry is gonna blow a gasket. My friend you don’t need that extra stress why don’t you stay off for a while and I’ll let you know when they gone. I’d hate to say temu took out hman And we need you around.
Well, I guess that is your choice, Harry. Personally, I check in 5 to 6 or more times a day and get rid of all that I can. If somebody with something besides a woodworking background wants to try to do something with the forum, give Derek at HDM a heads-up and volunteer.
But if you don't want to do that, get off my shit.

Let's not start slinging mud and complaining about minor shit caused by people who have no life. The folks who take care of things here deserve gratitude and Thanks not complaints. I have been on this forum since it started back in 07 (member #7) and have seen a multitude of changes, many arguments over stupid $hit and lost good members over BS. I usually ignore most of the BS and have encountered only one person that I felt strongly enough to block in almost 19 years. Wood I do thank you for what you do and if I was more computer savvy I would lend you a hand.

Wood you have taken care of this forum very well and we all thank you for that ,even tho you have never takn a personal invitation to attend a gathering and be treated like royalty. Lol
We are just very protective of harry as he is one of the best ever, always volunteered and helping anyway he can. Most of us would go hungry without the king of bbq and ofther culinary delights.
We have lost to many members in the last few years and h has been thru the wringer many times.
I say dakotbos send a drone over and bomb Temu , problem solved. We do have the powerful people on here.

This too will pass. I was getting on average, 25 spam calls a day. All of the sudden I'm down to 2. If you ignore them and let Wood do his job, this too will pass.

What with the weather getting too lousy for a lot of us to get out and ride, (Yeah rub it in Mick), it seems that tempers are growing shorter. I fully realize that these Temu posts are a pain in the ass for a lot of folks, but I also feel that it's easier to just ignore them and consider the source. I have never had the honor of meeting Tom, (woodbutcher) , but I truly believe he is doing the best that he can to keep us all together as a family. I would hate to lose anybody from here because of some hackers and their garbage! Now, with that being said, I get a bit annoyed by some of the blatantly political posts that show up now and then, but just consider the source and their first amendment right to free speech. Bottom line,, Life is too short to get upset by things we have no control over !! Stick around Harry, we all need and love ya buddy!

Tom, my rant was not directed @ you personally. I understand Mods do not have much control. You are limited as to what you can do. I know this firsthand because before BDB was, there was HMANZ. I built and hosted a server/forum that was global in reach. I too had to deal with crap posters and spam. But the diff was, I Was the Admin. I controlled the server. Thats why my fustration boils over @ times. I know what CAN be done to combat this spam. Anywho, no hard feelings. Ima go away for a while an cool off. You can delete this whole mess if needed.

Funny thing is, in the middle of the night, I looked up who was in charge of things on the forum. Me and Raywood are the only ones not listed as Admins.
Seems like even if I knew what I was doing, I'm handcuffed anyway.
