You can rule out (or in) the ignition switch by disconnecting it. If the bike is still on after you disconnect it you have a shorted wire... If not, you need a new switch.

You might unhook the battery and let the EHC reset otherwise I bet it's shot!. Is your battery in good shape? I would also search for grounds as already recommended.

I,ve got an 06 pitbull & it did the same thing. It only had 250 miles on it when this happened. Had the old style EHC that failed. Dealer replaced under warranty.

You may also want to check your EHC for water. Have you had your dog in the rain lately? Mine did something similar....lights on and flashing with key off.....after driving through a hard rain. If you haven't already, use dielectric grease in your EHC connections.

My 03 chopper is having the same problem....I washed it and blew it off really good (i thought) Took it for a 3 mile spin, and it ran perfect. shut everything down and put it away. i go to pull it out today and everythings dead. put the charger on and the lights fire up with ignition off.

Im still super green to the BDM scene, but i have learned alot from y'alls posts. I really appreciate the knowledge.

we'll see....
