Ignition switch

I believe the sportster switch normally comes with the kit. That being said, it was the first thing to go to hell after my wires plus install, followed by the power supply for the wires plus, followed by the brain.

I never got an ignition switch with the Kit. However, I bought one from Vulcan when I went to a dual coil set up. I have had mine since 2007 or there abouts and have not had a problem. Sorry to hear you had problems with your set up.

Yep, that's exactly how mine started out. Drove me nuts! It first started happening on my ride home from Panama City Beach to WI last spring. Thankfully, it held out long enough to get me home.

After I changed the switch, it seemed to solve a couple other mysteries. Tach board was one of them as well! Afterwards, the tach worked perfectly. Made me wonder how long I was really having the problem.
