yes stock the guy that had the bike before me lost the key and had a locksmith make another one and since then i have broke 2 and lost 1 riding down road

If all you need is a new key, nelson can order you one. All he needs is the number off the key or your project number.

also, try a plastic belt hook/clip with a key ring attached. Clip it to your plug wire and you won't lose your key anymore.

Big Dog replaced mine when the key fell out on a ride home. I looked into alternatives and the problem I ran across was the size of these stock switches are smaller that anything else I could find.....short of just installing a keyless toggle switch, I took the replacement and the word that they had fixed the key falling out problem. I never leave the garage without clipping the key to the ignition wire.

I replaced mine with a new key and stock tumbler(if thats what you call it) $75 bucks from the dealer. They told me they were reconfiqured so the key would never fall out. My key seems very snug in it. So far its been great.
