condition: bike runs/fires fine just has no top end, 70-90 MPH is flat and straining, nothing like it used to be.
some folks here said it may be the Ignition Module but is there a way to test the ignition module first to see if that's the problem? or do I just order one and see if the resolves the issue? any help is appreciated.
I've been trough the forum searches but cant find how to check the Ignition Module.

Do you feel the same condition at lower speeds in a different gear at the same RPM's? The other thing I would wonder is, did you change air cleaners recently to a different type or maybe ya need a new air filter.

I think an ignition module is either bad or good, no in between, in other words, if it's running than it's good, not 100% sure though, found this online, http://www.doityourself.com/stry/how-to-test-an-ignition-module, If it's not it then I wonder if it may be too lean and starving for gas at higher rpm's? I would check your flow of fuel, maybe the tank liner has started falling appart and blocking your flow of fuel, it may be fine at lower rpm's but when you get on it then it's not enough, good luck and I am sure someone will help ya figure it out.
