So let's say you found a nice bagger...... What would you be willing to pay for it? I see what folks are asking, I know the bike is "rare" I also know the freaking things are almost 10yrs old now.

Shit, I'm starting to sound like NoH2O......;)

Here is my take on it. They might be rare because only a little over a 100 were made but that does not make them in demand. If they were something a lot of people had to have you would see really high prices but that is not the case. If you find a nice bagger and really want it, just be fair with your offer and be firm. I feel I got a fair deal on mine and it is near mint with only 2250 miles on it. It only has a couple of nicks on the paint and very little chrome pitting here and there that you have to look for to see it. Do I think it will be worth more the older it gets Hell No but if i keep it in good shape I think I will get what I paid for it.

roadie1389, I had a 2006 Mastiff get stolen and I weighed my options K9, another Mastiff or whatever bigdog I could find. Hadn't really thought about a bagger because they were so rare. But one night while looking for any bigdog I could find I ran across a bagger on Ebay. So low and behold I found a used bagger, 15th anniversary in fact. It was in West Palm Beach and we all know what salt air does to these bikes. The guy was asking 13,999.00 for it. So I posted about it and a few members had seen this bike even a few went by and looked at it and expressed what all was wrong with it. Chrome on the bike was pretty much pitting and flaking, the billet aluminum was so tarnished there was no buffing it out. It had 3400 miles on it but other than that the motor sounded soild and rode very good. So after reading their commits and talking it over with friends that ride harleys, I took a trip to West Palm Beach. I only rode it 2 miles, but I knew within those 2 miles this was the bike for me. It had bags, a fairing, stereo, power better than a streetglide (I had test drove), it had it all. So, I bought the bike and rode it for about a month when I got an unexpected call from the sheriffs office. They had recovered my Mastiff, now it had been stripped down but the motor, belt drive and trans hadn't been. But during that month I was riding the bagger I had found a tinted longer windshield for the fairing, I also found a company to make a custom sissy bar, the mounting plates and backrest, I found out there is a difference between the 09 and 10 model bagger's mounting plate btw. At least that is what I was told by the maker of the sissy bar and mounts. Found a 2 up mustang seat, and then what solo seat will fit the bagger, S&S still makes many parts for the motor, venders off here make or can get other parts for the bagger also. The only things I've not found are replacment fairings and saddlebags, even tho someone on here did a custom job and added square bags to his and it still looks amazing. So don't let that they are rare hurt your choice in buying one, You actually have a bike to ride until a bagger becomes available in which ever color you like.

Now that I have my mastiff and my bagger and they are so alike in a lot of ways, tire sizes, body shapes as far as pro-street, they ride almost the same way. the fuel injection and rubber mounted engine is so much sweeter than my beefed up carb motor. But the Card motor has so much more power. I ride my bagger so much more than the mastiff. And now that cooler weather is here in S.C., I'll be very thankful of that fairing and windshield, and the bags to carry a jacket in. But I jumped on the first one I came across because I was without a bike. Mine was stolen Sept 14th 2018 and i bought the bagger on the 20th of Sept. and even though I've spent the purchase price of the bike then 16,000 in getting the bike completely chromed and a few upgrades, I don't regret buying this bike at all. Even tho I know I'd never get what I have in it, but I'm not trying to. this is a forever bike or until keeping it running is not an option. The only regret is I can't ride both of them at the same time lol. If you have a chopper, and a K9 is very similar to the chopper, try something new. wait for a bagger or jump on one while you can. Either way K9 or Bagger its a bigdog and you know you'll be happy.

Like you I'm in the hunt for another in the stable. Roadglide and scout bobber in there. My next will be a K9. I feel this will give me everything I need.

If I were getting a new [used] bike, it wouldn't be the cost that stops me. There has to be one in said condition or I walk. I'm looking at a virgin bike that's never been touched, torn down, electrics tampered with [well almost]. It's more the mechanical end of it. It tells me two things. It was dependable up to this point, and no one butchered a nut off or back on. If the butcher is externally shown, then the butchering continues internally... No Thanks.

Example: Very first time the nephew calls, he finds an evo fatboy. I go with him to look at it. I don't remember why it wasn't bought that day, but the more I looked over the engine it was never touched. When he went over to get it, the guy bumped up the price $250 more for the bike. When he called to tell me that I did not hesitate at all and still said to buy it. My thought was; what he might find on the next bike he goes to look at. I tore the engine down rather than start it and hear a noise. It was perfect inside. I called it 'Bulletproof' because he used the engine for a second build.

Has anybody ever seen a blue colored bagger? I usually see the black/red/maroon. Also I saw a listing that apparently they actually only made 68 of them of the 95 or whatever where supposed to be made.
There was a Blue bagger with blue and silver flames for sale a while back. I think it was somewhere in the NE. The guy was asking $20K. There was a two tone Blue and Silver one here in FL with a cheat line of skulls between the colors that was really nice.

I feel your pain , i would be torn as well. Ive rode k9s choppers and ridgebacks yet to ride a bagger, but love the look ........... of the big dog bagger. Can't stand the ride of another co. that makes em.
Yes I know this was not helpful at all, but why choose? They are like Pokemon, gotta collect em all lol

Dont have room for them all...

I have a Chopper (not going anywhere) now and I have always wanted to get a K-9. Just a sexy looking bike. I have an opportunity but I also like the bagger. I have yet to find a bagger at a reason price I am willing to pay but have come across a 07 K-9 that is a really nice looking bike, the frame I want and close enough. How mnay would go the K-9 route vs waiting for a Bagger?

I know this is a personal choice, but looking to see your thoughts. I know some have both so I would like your feedback.
if you want to stand out and ride a custom bike get the k9, if you want to be like everyone else get the bagger

Let the Big Dawg eat !
Under a hundred 2010 Bulldogs built. Not your typical cookie cutter model. It's the smooth ride of the Bulldog that peaked my interst. No other big dog rides as well.period.
100% true Paul. There is nothing boring or cookie cutter about the Bulldog Bagger. It doesn't matter if Im on the K9 or the Bagger, when I stop it draws a crowd. I was at a Subway for lunch the other day on the Bagger, the bike is parked out front and 2 different guys came up to me while we were eating to ask about it...the question is always the same...I know that ain't no Harley but what the hell is it cuz it looks amazing...lol :chopper:

Best Big Dog would in my mind be a K9 (or Ridge) model -03. Old Choppa with new K9 frame, 250 tire. Preferably with Fatboy wiring, no computer. Trouble free, easy to get parts.... And for the good measure throw a nice Mikuni carb into the mixture
