IF YOU RIDE WITH A SISSYBAR...

Planning a road trip in October and wanted to know if any of you guys can recommend a good piece of travel luggage. I only have the 12" sissybar and I don't have a luggage rack. My plan is to put on my 2 up seat and have the luggage piece sit on the seat and attach to the sissybar. What I would really like to have, is a piece that I can lean back on when I'm cruisin. Anybody got any suggestions. Pictures would be appreciated.

Thanks

Check J&P the have a good selection. I have two I got in the Daytona store. One sits on the rack on the trunk and one I put in Deb's seat it also can sit on the bitch pad and strap to the sissy bar. I think Ray uses a T-Bag....

Any good travel bag will work. Just strap to the sissy bar and have it set facing forward on the P Pad. Put something soft toward the rider and you can use it a back rest while cruising. If you had the little luggage rack on the back, you could get even more.

A good roll bag on the front over the bars will help also.

The key is good planning, cutting down the the bare necessities, and do a little pre trip planning and rehearsal. Get the bags down to what you need, load them up and make a trip, adjust as you need.

Invest in good straps and bungies to get it all together.

Have fun and enjoy the trip

Good point Fiber if you look at my old HD the bag has a Pad in front that made a nice back rest, I have the HD back rest on the new one which actually holds the bag tight in place...:2thumbs:
