Pop my lid off, and saw the photo below???? Pushrod stuck between rocker arms (rear exhaust)......

Got it home.....LIFTER is stuck???????? Cleaned them good, but what the fuck....bent pushrod now.....shit!!!!!! Bwahahaha.....welcome to my world....all good.....fixing it tomorrow boys and girls.....new lifters, pushrods etc.....fuck me......please....hahahaha

I don't consider a bent push rod as "blown up" ! Just more of a minor setback, What caused the rod to slip out? lifter not pumping up? Explain the problem!!

Before disassembly after the TOW....hahahahaha, I pulled sparklers, put in sixth gear, loosened all pushrods, THE lifter on rear exhaust DID NOT MOVE....so, took it apart, pulled CAM, TAPPETS etc......that rear exhaust lifter just SLID OUT.....wtf? Rear exhaust was the first pushrod I adjusted (I'm OCD and take notes.....), let it bleed down for OVER 20 minutes.....did I fuck it up? Maybe....but all other pushrods are fine, engine was PURRING until the FUBAR on interstate......

Sorry, couldn't help myself, it's early in the morning, I'm at "work", and I'm bored outta my skull! I already got the bike shined up , on company time, and have the paperwork caught up for a while. Maybe I'll go shine the bike some more, there's still some paint and chrome left on it

Lifters were supposedly NEW from guy on MN (JMC), Pushrods are original....tappets are new etc......

I bet the adjuster nut came loose, seems odd it bend a few hundred in. If your adjustment was off it would have bent day 1.

Back when I install new lifters on my bike, I started it up, and realized immediately they weren't right. I tried several times, but could not get them to bleed down. I call S&S, and their tech guy told me to roll it up on the cam lobe so it would put more pressure on the lifter, then roll it back to adjust it. Everything else in the instruction being the same. Some times new lifters need a little more pressure to bleed them down.
