Baker or Karate (both look good)
I really don’t want to buy a lift and tools to do the install so I need a reliable place to have it done preferably in OKC area, I could do Dallas but would rather not. If you guys find the time please give it to me strait, I do expect to spend 3 grand on the parts but unsure on the install? Any input is greatly appreciated. Nothing but the best for my dog.

If you don't mind a run to Wichita you can pm C.A.Jones. He's trying to open a new shop here. Or pm Mojo. He was a tech at BDM. He's also opening a shop. You can also reach him here.

Call and talk to Rusty at OKC Customs Okie City Custom Cycles | Okie Custom Cycles He's done work for me and I've always been happy. They are in Moore OK where the service road comes off of shields blvd and runs beside I-35 just past 27th street. There's a guy in town by the name of Howard Wiggens I can put you in touch with also. He's a friend of my stepdad and is a great mechanic and machinist. He has a good rep in the city and most of the shops in town are familiar with him. That's the only people in the city I'd trust with my bike at this point.

Thank everyone for the information….I think I can do it. But if one has to drill and tap new holes that makes me shy away from it. I figure the cost of installation would buy the lift and extra tools I don’t have plus the lift would come in handy oil change time…..blah blah blah Thanks Again

Karata or Baker.
I run the Karata but both are well made. Pick the look/sound you want and run with it.

I'll do it for you for $500 or a $1000 if you help.:D Seriously I would help ya for free if you lived closer. You should be able to do it yourself though.:2thumbs:

I'm sure Baker makes a good open primary, but the Karata sure looks good. 4" Karata is on my bucket list. A few members on the forum have the Karata and Baker units maybe they will chime in and give the pro's and con's of each and a few pointers on the install.
