I think myEHC is trying to tell me something

So every since I got the bike ready to ride this year she has become a cold natured bitch. I have to take a blow dryer to the ehc to get it going. Once warmed up not to many issues unless it's below 80 out and it sits to long. I have been parking in the sun and pull seat off so sun can keep it warm. Is this a sign

It's definitely a sign. A sign you should consider getting rid of that EHC and rewire your dog. Are you running a carb or EFI?

My EHC quit without a single warning, it just went lights out, no power. Two days later and $50 worth of hardware I had my dog rewired after a standard Sporster wiring diagram. :roll:
Add an extra $100 for an aftermarket turn signal module and that was it, no more headaches.

Don't know how hard would be to rewire an EFI, but carb should be easy.

Just a question but what may have you done to get her ready to ride which might have effected the EHC. I would suspect a moisture induced connection problem first. There is a thread on cleaning the connectors and repacking with dielectric grease you could try.

I would try what Nukeranger said above first, could be a cheap fix. I was home right before Easter, bot only for a few days, I catch up with you later this summer.

Only thing I have done is fluids this year.....but definitely will try repacking connectors.....aspen u better hit me up on buddy....how is the family???

Yep, try what they have said, that will eliminate the external connectors....
If PCB boards need to be heated before they will work then it normally means that there are "dry joints" on the board or the PCB has a "crack" on a track. The heat makes the tracks and joints expand and then make contact. The only way to fix this is to try and open up the EHC and resolder... easy job
