I think it's fixed!!!!!!!!

Energy One
So I had the S&S intake installed on my scoot.

Ohhh let the problems begin........Wide open throttle no problems.....
Hold it steady at 40,45,50,55 etc........Pop,bang,snort.....Bumped the Int.
jet from a 31 to a 32....Better until 70-75 popping thru the intake...Exactly
what is in the Gas How-to- thread installing jets and adusting carbs..

Ok bumped the 32Int to a 33 and adjusted the carb problem gone but way to rich down low..Starting to darken the front plug and loading up......Ready to run the damn thing into the lake and call it a day...:bang:

In steps my buddy Dave at the MotorCycle shop in Rochester Mi. I can fix it
he tells me...I think to myself ahhhh hell why not what else can go wrong..He tells me I have just the thing for it...Snake Oil, the magic fix what?????Tells me he has seen it before and can fix it....Installs the following....

Put the Int jet back to a 31 plugs look good..Put a few miles on it and it seems to have worked.....

I installed mine yesterday, but did not take it out for a good run yet. I had xXx do my carb with the booster a month ago. Dont mind the pipes, V&H without the shields. The new V&H 2 into 1 should be here in a few days. Topshelf, what is your main jet? I was running a .295 but also think I need to go to a 31.

Fuel atomizer... all XXX carbs have it...

Also, have you checked for a intake leak? With motor running spray the intake with brake clean... see if the idle comes up. If it does, INTAKE LEAK!
