I think I seriously buggered up my gas cap...

So I've been trying to get the left gas cap off of my (split-tank) Boxer.

Turns out I've been tightening it more and more. "Lefty-loosy, righty-tighty" apparently doesn't f-cking apply in the world of motorcycle gas caps.

Watched a guy fighting the left cap on a Lowrider. By the time I figured out what we was doing (was at gas station) he had twisted the cap so much he ruined the fuel level indicator
