I've just spent 2 miserable weeks getting moved. I had the luxury of using an enclosed race-car trailer to move a little bit each night and on the weekends. It was a blessing and a curse. It was a blessing because I could get it done at my own pace, without stressing about getting a rental truck back at a certain time. A curse because it was way too easy to procrastinate on it. In the middle of the move, my wife and I both came down with the flu. So, safe to say, I'm glad it is over.
But that's not why I love San Diego. Last night, I took the truck and trailer to it's storage location. I had a brilliant idea...load the Big Dog up in the trailer and I'd ride it back home!
So, there I was...middle of December and I'm cruising along on my bike and it's a beautiful evening. Temperature was in the 70s. I had about 30 minutes in the wind, by the time I got to the new house...I had forgotten about all the BS of the move and being sick. I had a grin on my face!
