I know that many here have stated that thier Billet aluminum looks as good as Chrome.
But my bike has been parked in the garage since earley November( winter climate).
Over the Winter I polished every part on my bike. I chose Mother's billet aluminum polish as it does not contain ammonia ( a known snake oil product, that damages aluminum). I have also tried the many many other products that folks here have found.
Yet I was inspecting my bike today, many parts that were all polished like chrome, have become hazy looking again (keep in mind the bike has never left the garage!).
Does cold temperature itself effect billet??? I want chrome... but the cost of chrome is... well you know.... not cheap.
