I can't win for loosing, my super duper LED head light took a shit, atleast 1 LED anyway.

I am glad I bought 2 of em at the time. IF this one dumps out I'm going to the grinder and
going to HID like I did my Sporty. Hell, it's got 2 years on it and it will burn the hair off the
neck of the rider in front of ya, atleast that's what they say.

Anyone else had this happen?? or do I need to go to Ireland and Kiss The Blarney Stone????

Chillin send the bad one back to me so I can look at it.
We have new ones coming in soon that are far better than the first ones.
If it failed due to the product I will send you one of the new ones.

IT'S on it's way FedEx should arrive Monday

Thanks Again

Thanks Kaptin, the new speed sensor arrives yesterday. I did change the wiring away from the EHC
to keyed power . Speedo works like a charm. I'm hoping it was the "box" that was the problem. Since this is the 3rd speed sensor in as many months.

Once again Thank You for the speedy shipping.

Chillin, Why did you need to change your speed sensor? Was it involving a problem with your speedo? I`m trying to figure out what is going on with mine. I ordered a new backbone wiring harness from Curtis , But , I`m not sure that's my problem. So I`m looking for anyone having similar problems.
Thanks

I'm not sure why I lost 3 speed sensors within a year. This time I ran new hots and grounds from switched source,
so far so good. I'm watching all the electricals since I have also lost turn signals months ago.

Make it 4 speed sensors in a year. We were out last Saturday on a 100 mile ride, well at 54. whatever...NO SPEEDO.
We had stopped for a right handed cigarette and something to drink. was working fine when we stopped, fired it up
everything seemed fine.... for the next 1/4 mile and BANG there it went. I have re-wired everything for the tach
and speedo, tach has never even burped. I'm going to have to carry a hand of xanax just to keep my mind.

NO these are NOT eBay cheapo's

How are you testing these?

Are you putting a volt meter on the signal wire and seeing of its reading?

I am curious because I just did a complete rewire and everything but speedo works. I took sensor out and tested voltage from signal wire and it's a static 2.44v always. Per manual should read 0-6v, I assume should read zero or damn close to it when rife isn't moving and the faster you rotate the tire the voltage should increase.

You rewired it? So you have a dedicated power and ground? And ran a new signal wire to speedo?

Testing as power, ground (12v) signal wire(bad ones) shows sometimes as high as 7.8 V BUT it's always steady voltage. I got the last one from
Curtis. I checked it the same way and as you spun the wheel voltage increased, as it should. The Tach and speedo are on the same
pos and neg as in the schematic but to a switched power.

The last one I have not checked, ain't touched it.
