Dude, you will really like that scoot and these colors are bad ass.

Sterling will get you a seat your wife will love to sit on and it will compliment your scoot.
Got a delivery date confimed yet?

Terminology my friends. Just that. Nothing else. As I said, Ride it like you stole it! It's a great buy and you'll enjoy it for endless miles! Enjoy and cheers! Nothing like getting a new bike. I'm into mine for 4200 miles and can't wait to get more!

Well let me explain it to you: If you stole it then you would have no regard for the preservation of the bike. You would take it to it's limits, and past them with vengence. I f you don't get it now the get back on the porch with the puppies!!!!!!
That was my point, why would you want to treat a bike you own like it was stolen??? So in this case telling him to ride it like you stole it doesn't make any sense.

I quite understand the terminolgy being said, I just question the knowldge of telling someone who owns a bike to just go beat the shit out of it like it was stolen.

Fantastic. Congrats. You're going to love your Wolf. It's a blast to drive and it never gets lost in a sea of Harleys. Here's a picture of mine with a couple mods.

Congrats on the new ride! I'm the owner of your older brotha from the same motha...2010, with same candy red.

Few things.
1) 2up seat on ebay as I type:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2009...2180377QQptZMotorcyclesQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories
2) Tons of deals on V&H Big radius pipes. Vrroom vrrooom.
3) Passenger. A bit unique on the Wolf as it's more of a King/queen set-up. Your girlie will be perched up pretty high. Overall, the Wolf has MUCH better than "chopper" handing due to the wider front and narrower rear tires.
4) In that photo, my guess is the seat isn't pushed down. Mine is quite a bit more fitted to the rear fender in back. Might just be the angle...or you have extra padding (jealous).
5) Only upgrades I have planned are an unlocked ECU and cams.
6) BTW...the 2up seat (while super comfy) is terrible looking on the bike. Like a loaf of bread. While the rear fender is curved, I have had the girl ride 2-up with my Ridgeback pillion without any trouble.

Wish there was a Wolf section on BDB...not many of us around. I'm #5 of 2010.

For me, the saying means that you ride it hard and fast with disregard. There are 2 schools of thought and I saw the same thing when I owned my Corvette... 1 group kept their Vettes spotless, never seeing rain, rarely driven, never raced, etc....

Then there was the group 2, which I belonged to, who drove their Vettes in all weather (I drove mine through Chicago winters for a few years even though I owned a Jeep), hit the drag strip or autocross whenever possible, thought burnouts were not just for kids, and just drove our cars in the manner they were designed to perform. High performance machines are designed for high performance and I feel should be driven in that manner.

I ride my dog the same way... it's a machine that can be repaired, but WILL be enjoyed. I drag pegs on twisty roads, do burn outs when I feel like it... especially coming out of a turn, having the back end sideways is fun to me, ride fast and just enjoy the machine I blew a wad of cash on.

If it breaks, I'll fix it... but I do my best to keep the paint clean and shiny... I want the bike to shine while doing burn outs. :2thumbs:

I'm the exact same way Bubble. Take a look @ my Stang. I beat the shit out of it and if it breaks, I fix it. If there was anything special regarding the valuation of the vin#, it'd be a different story for both the car & bike.

Sorry Murf, I decided to keep the them. I ordered a two up seat and pegs from BDPP in August and received the seat and pegs late September
