Cool

I took it for a ride and surprizingly here in socal not much shit being thrown up at your back....I'm still working on finishing it up but for now this is the look...enjoy!
Recently, while shining my Dawg, I had the front fender off to gain access to those nooks and crannies. The sight of the Scoot without the front fender kinda grew on me, but I put it back anyway. I may remove it later and take it out to see what kind of responses I get.!!!

Nice

for right now just to get it on the road and for testing the tie wraps are for securing the tail lite wires which later I'll get rid of the tie's which will make it look cleaner, I post pic's later...also the red tubes you see are the led's that replaced the rear turn signals. I still need to make a battery cover of some sort, what you see is just a piece of foam to keep out any foreign objects. thanks for the comp's!

Here is a battery cover I quickly made tonight....this is made from heavy mil art paper from walmart...I'll seal it and paint it tomorrow.

That looks great ... question, would it make sense to add some venting to the battery cover as it does get a bit warm? some louvers .. :2thumbs: :2thumbs:

I'm diggin this more and more each time I see it. Rigids are prime for that setup.

On the signals/tail lights, I asked about drilling small holes to run wire inside the swingarm on my chopper to relocate the lights from the struts to where the axle caps are. Was told that it wouldn't hurt the structural integrity. That's the plan for my winter rebuild :2thumbs:

Looks great man....but I am such a picky fuck that I would have to get out the cut off wheel and hack off the fender mounts and seat aligner. Of course that means disasembly and power coating your frame.

I know what you mean Vegas

you could stick some spikes in there and try to make a feature out of it - would save a lot of time and work (and money) and could then go back to stock too

Could make a cool cover for the seat mount and cut some flat stock in a half moon down to a sharp ass point ( about 6 inches long) to bolt into the old fender mount. That way if you ever want to go back to stock tha mounts will still be there....:2thumbs:
