The bottom line is that condensation happens when warm moist air comes in contact with cooler air or a cooler surface. The temperature of the cooler surface is lower than the Dew Point of the warm air. Warm air holds more water molecules that cooler air. If the bike is cold and you open the garage door on a spring day the moist warm air will condensate on the cooler Big Dog or Bad Yellow Vette. If it is cooler outside no problem the air has already given up its moisture. If you run the humidifier too much when it is really cold outside the windows in your house are below the dew point and it rains on the windows. If you do not run the fan under the higher outside humidity conditions you will let the bag act as a vapor barrier and keep the dirt and moisture out although it won't look as cool. One of the key players is the garage floor temperature. It take a while for that mass to change temperature.

This would be good for my garage due to tremendous amounts of dust. I do keep both of my bikes in a car tent (designed for ourdoors, but in my shop) with a dehumidifier... Works like a charm

I am confused. Why not fix the condensation issue in a garage and the dust issue? Seems like a better solution for not only the Big Dog but any tools in the garage. Second, you can go out and open the garage door jump on the Big Dog and go riding vice deciding it's too much work to get the Big Dog out of the bubble to go riding.

Can't seem to fix the condensation issue. I have been told I should have put down heavy plastic before pouring the concrete floor. Dogs only in the bubble for winter, condensation isn't too much of a problem in the summer except during heavy rains.

the biggest thing that comes to mind that could cause so much humidity, and there is nothing that can be done about it, is the possibility that when the concrete was poured, there was no vapor barrier laid down on the dirt. therefore you will always have moisture leaching up through the floor. maybe a good epoxy coating on the concrete will help but it may still end up bubbling up the epoxy. :2cents:
