2003 Big Dog Chopper: The thunderheart ignition module is not working I talked to a tech and he said the part is discontinued and the replacment is a Dyna 2000P i was wondering if anyone has installed one on a big dog chopper and is there instructions or a video.

the wires on the dyna 2000P are different colors then the ones on the bike i was hoping to find step by step instructions by someone that has done it, i am better at hands on takes to long to compute reading in my head

You will need to cut the Dyna connector off and re-pin everything. Can you tell me on the ignition module does it have 3 connectors both with 3 pins or one with 3 and the other with 4?


One of the connectors goes to the cam chest pickup. Red/Green/Black. The other is main power, leads to coil and tach.
