Had to get your attention. Been a member here a long time. Normally I can search and find my answers.
I stripped my engine case, I have changed my oil many many many many times. Never had an issue as least not with this plug. I’ve messed up the primary drain plug many times. I stock those haha.
I was servicing my bike, it needs it and I was going to be in a parade tomorrow. Jacked bike up. Dumped all three holes.
when putting back in the plug for the engine case it stripped out. I would have lost money that the plug is stronger than the case but it pulled threads. I was pulling it tight, two fingers on a small ratchet like every other time and it just didn’t have any bite to it so I pulled it out and sure enough there is a case thread on the plug.
I’m an industrial mechanic and mess stuff up from time to time. Fix a pulled thread with extra thick teflon or a paper towel. Or teflon with gasket maker. I’ve tried all of my tricks and nothing.
any other fixes? Other than drilling and tapping the hole larger?
