no clutch

I have looked and looked and looked. They no longer make one. Talked to Wild Steed Works (WSW). He was working on one but no go so far. Curtis at WSW runs an EFM auto clutch. So Do I now....

EFM is cool, specially if you don't have a dry cutch! Clutch lever will be little finger operation!

You do need to modify clutch basket and innerhub to install it... It is not plug and play.

I did it a long time ago - your biggest obstacle is getting a reservoir to fit on the bars. You would have to change them or do what I did. I like my bars, so I cut off the ends and welded on stock harley ends. This way you can also run stock HD controls, switches, etc. Here's my bike. I changed brake and clutch to PM.

I ran the lines internally inside the bars, then the clutch went down the frame to keep everything clean. Only tweeking was I wanted to keep the stock belt guard because I cut a tribal into it, so we had to bend it up a little to match the new clutch cover.

I put Custom Controls Climax series controls on My K9.
Everything is internal which I really like.
My original clutch cover was the stock cover machined to accept a Baker actuator that was machined out of a Baker cover and then fit to the stock cover.

THis is the actuator portion of the Baker Cover that I removed and adapted to the BD cover.
I ran the hydraulic line inside the back bone down through the battery box area and along the lower frame rail to pop out and make a direct connection to the cover.

We can put this setup together if someone wants it bad enough but it is not cheap.

First off, the handle won't fit the handle bar.
The handlebar end I can do what LamboV12 did and cut and weld a smaller bar, it’s the Actuator end I’m not sure about. I changed the clutch cable in the summer as the old one snapped, but am really wanting to change to a hydraulic one as the clutch lever is so hard with the cable.

As a machinist, that would be a fun project to get the actuator mounted in there. If the hard pull clutch handle is your only reason to go through all that work, there are other options to make your clutch easier to pull.

I think Barnes has E-Z pull for ‘05-‘11 in stock currently. Much easier & cheaper fix
