20K to 30K for a bike and he can't afford to spend a dime on some spikes. :zzdisappointed:
Damn! Life must be a "B"! :zzdisappointed:
Do he go around to all the gas stations in town and just empty out all of the fuel hoses to fill the bike up too?

dead

OK,
Dead my secret may be out so I figure might otta come clean....I figure I might have 8,000 bucks in my K9 project bike so far started out with a brand new K9 that went under water at the Big Dog Dealer in New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina. the bike was delivered two days before the Hurricane , so I got it for salvage 300 bucks which gave me all the little shit needed for a start, tore it all apart and started collecting parts that were destroyed by the storm, as I already had a 2004 Big Dog Chopper that I had put together with help from my friend Derick Mcloud at McCloud’ Custom Cycle I was were pretty good at scrounging parts ,most folks on here know him as Shovelhead kicker on Ebay...while in the process of building the bike a buddy had to have the 117 that was on it so I let him have it which paved the way to get a 124 off the Ironhorse sale in Houston for 2000 bucks so there was the new motor decided to after studying about all the improvements that could be made to send the top end to Mr Jim at Megaflow in PA he did the porting and flow job on the heads bored the Carb and added the third Jet being it was a non EPA motor to begin with no decking was nessasary ,sent the flywheels off to balance masters and had them balanced and retrued.
as far as the Transmission
The Transmission had serious issues was full of sewage so while I was at Thunder Beach last spring I ran into Burt and Lisa Baker and told them I needed help with my transmission that had went swimming during Katrina so he told me to ship it to him that that would be an interesting challenge cause he was curious on the effects of saltwater to his transmissions so he fixed it for a hundred bucks. Of course the frame had to be repowdered after being in a vat to remove any corrosion that would be left, all the billet aluminum that was pitted I sanded and repolished had to get a Baldor polisher for that spent a bunch of weekends on that one…. Then had everything chromed 1500 bucks over at the Chrome Shop in Madisionville La of course all the little pieces that were destroyed have been located here on this forum or Ebay or driving around to various Big Dog Shops and buying there junk..
Gas tank and oil tank I cleaned them out by filling with some of them polish bearing s a buddy of mine that was a Jeweler was throwing away put them in the tank and went to a friends hardware store and shook with the paint mixer got all the rust and shit out them then got all the tins painted buy a guy down the street for 500 bucks
Seen one of them Dragon Springer’s on here from Mr. Moe’s bike so I just had to have one so I called Mr.ted and told him I was cheep and broke but I really wanted one of his Springers so he cut me a killer deal and told me not to tell anyone what he charged me
Had to have one of them 4 inch Karata belt drives after hearing the wine in the video that was posted here so Keith aka Mr.Showtime hooked me up with that and the spike coil mount with dual dyna coils as well.
All the S&S performance stuff I ordered at work when I was working at an HD Stealership .
So my K9 thus far:
