I've already modified my 117ci engine about as much as I can without going ridulus exspensive, but I'm just not happy with the performance of it, so I weighed out the cost of getting more power out of my current motor and dicided that I could just pull it sell it and get me an El Burto 140ci for almost the same money as it would be to try and get my 117 up to a 165hp. My question is can the BDM transmission handle that much HP and torque. Also since the El Bruto is designed to handle the that much HP it should be more reliable than pushing my motor up to those kinds of numbers. I can purchase the 140ci for $5900 and it show polished and dimond cut and it is set up to pump out 165 hp. I even considered the Dux 200ci 200hp motor becuase they say it fit into any frame that will mount a stock evolution engine, but the price on that one was outragous. i think it started around 10 grand. I plan to do some more research on the El bruto engines becuase I was always taught if something seems to be to good to be true then it usually is. But back to my question can the the BDM tranny handle that kind of power. I apreciate your feed back.
