I'm trying to remove my fork tubes from the lower tree. My bike has a solid billet lower tree without a slot to release the tubes. Instead I have what looks like a threaded insert of a larger size that the pinch bolt passes through, but does not touch. I buggered up the tubes when I replaced the seals last time and want to install new upper tubes. Not sure if I have to remove the inserts or push against the smaller pinch bolt holes to release the tubes. I would also like to know the legnth of the upper tubes, so I can order them before I pull the sliders so that I can order new ones. Please help me if you can. Thanks
