How to remove battery cover?

I know this may be simple for you experienced guys, but I've not done it and I don't want to screw up this nice looking piece. I have a new K-9 with the one piece battery cover. I can see several possible bolts to remove, but I don't know how the inside/out of sight connectors may be installed. Can someone that's removed their's, send me a response or photos how to remove this cover without scratching/breaking it. I need to check my EHC connections and indicator lights. Thanks.

I think he's having problems removing the cover from that area... I could not see how to get Dave's right side cover out of that area without pulling the rear pipe

Same problem with jerr-06k9's. We pulled the bolts out of the clutch actuator cover, slid it back and jer was able to finess his cover out. Would be much easier pulling the rear pipe off though.

Yeah that would be the other option but even then there isn't much room to move that cover out with the pipes in the way (pipes for Dave's being V&H BR)

CURDOG's 08 K-9 has a two piece cover on it, what is this with one piece covers?

If it was one piece, I do not see how it would come out without yanking pipes and maybe some other stuff!
