How to Remove 2006 Big Dog Mastiff Gas Tank??

Hey guys I just bought a 2006 Big Dog Mastiff and like the title says i'm trying to figure out how to remove the gas tank? I took out the bolts on the bottom of the tank but there is a metal piece that connect's to both sides of the tank. if someone knows how to remove this tank that would be great. The quicker it comes off the quicker the custom paint can be put on. E-mail me at dpighetti@hotmail.com with the steps.
