Step 1: Take a good look at the dining room. WTF do you need it for? You don't. Decide on your own that its wasted space and you can make better use of it. :)

Step 2: Put the leaves in the dining room table and cover it with towels. Beer towels work best as it adds to the new man cave theme. Move the dining room table off to the side as you wont be eating on it anymore. While you are at it, tear apart the dining room light and modify it to make it taller so you don't hit your head on it. Your doing good now!

Step 3: Sneak the Big Dog into the living room. Make sure you look around the corner to make sure the wife is not home yet. It goes better if you can complete this project while she is gone. :2thumbs:

Step 4: Install the motorcycle lift into the dining room. Make sure you leave the wife's dining room rug in place because your feet will thank you later as your wrenching on the Dog. And remember, its all about you at this point. :yesnod:

Step 5: Push the Big Dog on to the lift and lift her up! Your almost finished!! Re-install the dining room light, and remove the Dogs battery. Matter of fact - get to work and remove all kinds of parts fast. Its best to get the dining room table covered with parts before she gets home!

Step 6: Crank up the stereo and pop open some cold ones and wait for the wife to come home!! You will feel all satisfied and happy...........until you hear the garage door open. :spank:

Wish me luck!!

Very nice. I tried putting my dog in the bedroom. Needless to say that didn't happen. That picture of the bike on the bike stand would make a great potm.

Well I woke up and looked down this morning and my balls are still attached.....lol.

Ok, in all truthfulness - the wife was on board the whole time!! It took a little persuasion, but she said ok as long as its gone by spring. Its too damn cold in the garage, and I am wasting away the winter inside bored - cant stand the cold anymore.

So the wife agreed to this - maybe to get me out of her hair.....ha! She even helped me get it in there. I have to give her a lot of credit for being ez going. We took a break and looked over - got a kick out of the dogs front wheel peeking around the corner!

The previous owner had this room built on the back of the house - who knows why. Formal dining rooms really are a waste. We eat at the kitchen bar area anyway. So I moved the table to that area and moved an old table we had in the basement (needs refinished someday) into the dining room as my workbench.

Should work out well and keep me occupied for the next 3 months instead of moping around the house!! I'll start a new thread on the project soon! In the mean time - we thought this thread would be a lot of fun!

that is some funny shit--my wife reminded me that we are currently without a dog---so the dog house is available if needed.
