I have searched through a bit and have not found the answer that I am looking for, so I thought I would post this up and see if I get what I am looking for.
I am needing some major help on tunning my Dog or setting or something because even after taking it to Strokers here in Dallas it is still coughing and sputtering. The Dog was stock when purchased and ran perfect, bu now have added the Martin Brothers Medustas -
which after adding these did not any riding difference other than it sounded bad ass. I have now added the Arlen Ness 90 degree velocity stack -
and since this went on it was sputtering and coughing. Strokers said that it just need to be rejetted. No prob, only $45 bucks. I picked it up yesterday and took off. Damn thing was doing the same thing it was when I took it in, so i went back and the service tech said that he put the jet that would best match my set-up but that did not have enough back pressure and needed to add some baffels in those pipes. I told him to look in the pipes because there was baffels, so sure enough he saw them, he's reply was that I probably needed better ones and probably needed to take the heades of and grind open the restricter plates. PROBABLY!
Dont these guys build bikes? Should I ask for my money back? Should I tell them they are not fixing the problem right and waht he said was wrong? I think they are the only BDM authorized service, so I wouldnt want to piss them off and then get shity service from here on out.
I need some good advice guys, and all your help would be much appreciated.
