How to fix a click click starter

If you get that starter click, click, click then it catches this may be your problem.
Dirty contacts in the solenoid. Pull the end cover off and remove the plunger then just take some emery cloth (150 grit) and clean them up.
This lasted over 5k miles untill the oil seal failed!!

Well this time it got oil in it and its about done this time, probably clean it up find some bearing and seal to save it for a spare.:down:
