Ok, like the title says. anybody got an ingenious way to get in by starter and in by transmission? Have an oil drip and waiting til winter to change seals so gotta clean after every ride. It's hard to get my hands in those tight spaces down by the starter.
ideas?

I use Pimp-Stixx. Pretty handy for cleaning in tight spaces

Looks Similar to a Gun Mop. But a lot more money :job:

I say get a gun mop like the below and throw some electrical tape on the end to ensure no scratches.

I just use aluminum wheel cleaner on it then let it sit and spray it down then wipe down the chrome parts.

Ride more, polish less. Lol
Soft toothbrush and degreaser works if you haven't washed the bike in several months like me.

I would be interested in hearing from cats that use that s100 spray. I plan on starting to actually wash my bike as after two years of "dry" washing, it really needs to be cleaned with water. I was just planning on using the s100 from the engine on down to get all of that nasty road grime out of the nooks and cranny's...

Used it. Like it. Don't let it stay on very long. Spray it on, give it a minute and hose it off.

There is lots of thread on S100 here and other forums that says you can cut that stuff 2 or 3 times which I do. It's so concentrated and still works great. :D

Cool, I will sack up and get that Ridgeback clean. Now just to decide if polishing the cylinder fins is worth the effort as I have seen other peoples fins lose the shine quick!

Bag handle bar controls and battery. Spray S100 on everything except wheels and paint. As soon as you finish spraying hose off (60 sec max). Love it
