how to bypass the EHC to get the coils charged?

With all this talk of failing EHC's, I'm curious. I have an aftermarket single fire ignition, (Dyna 2000i) so should my EHC fail, what would I have to do to get the bike started? It would just be a matter of getting juice to the timing module or is it more complicated?

i'm also real interested in this.

on my 2KI the only thing from the EHC is the power feed.

if you look at the S&S diagram for the compression release install it shows the complete start circuit wired off the battery with fuses and a relay. would also need to relocate a run and start switch. IMO

interested in doing this plus your headlight mod and just leave the EHC for the blinkers and brake lights.
