how to adjust rear belt alignment

I replaced the belt on my coyote and i ahve it all back together but i cant get the belt to align right. i have the rear tire straight in the swing arm but the belt is riding about a 1/4 of an inch of the drive pulley. Its hitting the inside of the cover that the clutch pushrod sits in i dont understand what is going on some one please help

how do you know its straight in the swing arm?being straight in the swing arm dosent always mean its inline with the transmission.use the search tool,there's alot on this topic.just sayn:cheers:

Are you making that 'straight' determination based on meaning the axle is centered or otherwise even/equal in the swing arm axle slot or based on the axle being even/squared off the swing arm pivot shaft? The later is what you require.
