how pull pins

here's the deal my tag light took a crap:bang: soooooo I need a new one I was reading on how to do this in my "I dont know how to do this book" and it said that I had too pull the pins out of the jst connector now I tried the ol man way an just pull that didnt work I am stumped it is a 2 pin connector:loony:

The JST connectors have a one way "fin" built into the metal pins to prevent unwanted removal.
Some just flatten the end of a paper clip, then stick in the connector housing to depress the fin so the pin can be removed! Wha-La!

Dead doesn't know what the shit he's talking about......unless he asks John Sachs first. The easiest way I found to extract the pins was to get an old rabbit ear TV antenna that extends. Find the section of extension that will just barely fit over the pin. When you press it down over the pin with a little pressure, the pin will release. You can Wha La if you want to, but that's just Dead playing with himself again. :roll::roll::roll:

I always use a paper clip as well!

...I know it is an expensive tool and the only draw back to it is that it is a bitch to find it in the tool box when you need it.

A box of 100 is easier to find!!!!
