Your probably not a complete da since you've retired at 47, but now have plenty of time to research and think about your decision. Maybe your mom, dad, girlfriend, boyfriend, wife, man partner, dog or cat is questioning your sanity - who knows...

So you jump back on and ask 3k people you don't know and likewise don't know you if you've made the right decision basically. You at least wanted thoughts on it and you got 'em. Does that make me classless because I pointed out you appear to lack the genital fortitude to make a decision and stick to it? Maybe. Does it make me a dickhead? No - I'm a dickhead for other reasons.

Nobody here can predict what your bike will be worth 2, 6, 8 months from now or 8 yrs from now, but you know that too.

Almost 8 years ago I was going to buy a Harley and found a good deal on a slightly used Boxer. Once I owned the BD I have never thought of owning anything else. I am about to buy a K9... again slightly used of course. Since it is a buyers market, I have a great excuse not to sell the old one but keep it instead and have 2 dawgs in the house. Definitely had more problems than a Honda, but always felt it was well worth it!

You can have a super hot chick that's higher maintenance (mx) and will drain your pocket book quicker, but it pays off when everyone one else is envious and you get to ride her all night long! Or you can have a fat ugly girl that doesn't take any mx and is a cheap date, But no one wants to ride her including you!

Go for the hot chick!

unless your one of those particular types of people (me ) who can't stand to have something someone else has owned. I have bought a few used "beater" cars over the years, but motorcycles....only 2 of them were used, and I've had more than my fairshare of 2 wheeled fun.
