Thank You for your Service to our Country :flag:

I did 96 months at 3.99 thru Big Dog dealer when they were running a special financing program that was set up for 84 months @4.99 percent. When they ran my credit check, they said with my score I could actually get 3.99% with longer terms up to 108 months. I took the terms at 96 months and nothing down. Pay extra each month and will be paid off a couple years sooner.
USAA has good rates, but your credit union will prolly do better.
You may also want to contact BDM and ask what special rates they can get you thru their finance company they use.
Good luck and keep us posted on your Big Dog adoption. :cheers:I

I'm in the Navy and was wondering how long Big Dog will finance a bike for....
Welcome, where are you stationed?

I financed mine through Navy Federal and they had the best rates at the time. Motorcycles fall under recreational vehicles so if you see someone offering under 6% or so then you doing great. But I financed mine for 5% for 72 months then paid it off real quick through NFCU.

:cheers::flag::cheers:

Security Fedral Credit Union in the Detroit area, that I used, offered 15 years at 5.9%.

I put about 40% down on mine and did a shorter time right at 5%.

That was in 2004 though!!!

Now nobody can get financed!:D

More than 7 years is to long in my opinion, I would be sure and set a budget and stand firm. You being military:flag:, don't go past your next reenlistment. I was fortunate; I was able to simply scratch a check, and be out.
