how i mounted my sissy bar

thought this may help some you guys out their looking for options on getting a sissy bar mounted to your scoot. i did mine a few months ago and havent had any problems and it didnt break the bank. ginz mounts from member five five and stock bdm sisy bar.

Looks like a real clean job! How are they attached? Are they drilled and tapped or bolted from underneath? They don't look like they are welded. They are quite nice.

I didnt mount them but I dont think they are backwards if they were turned around the sissy bar would lean to the front of the bike

The mounts come with the screw holes in them so drilled through the fender and strut and used longer bolts that would go through both

That looks great! I had just about give up ont he sissy bar thing because I can't find any struts, but that has got me thinking about again.
