How Fast?

:worthless: or video for that matter!!!

That´s almost 230 Km/h !!!!!!! :eek::eek::eek:

Could you hold your feet on the pegs?????

:2thumbs:
No problem holding my feet on the pegs. Don't have a video, any thing above 100mph and my GoPro shows nothing but the sky. The wind blows the camera straight up, the mount I have can't hold it tight enough. Pipes and pegs take a beating though

125+ only wobble was my knees!!!:roll:
Old Knees wobble pretty much at any speed don't they!! :D Mine still has that noise from the heads up around 95 so I don't push it any farther than that speed but I don't see any reason except for a fast upcoming pothole to really crank one up. Going from "0" to about the middle of fourth gear in a hurry is a rush on the ole scooter.

I went 140 and the wobble occurred in shallow high speed turns while accelerating. I bought the Big Dog laser alignment tool from Donna and have not tried since I got the right setup. I see no reason one shouldn't be able to do 160+ on a K-9, and my pipes looks exactly like Mickeetwo's. I realize it is not a racer but I used to be so I just have the fun I can have. Other fellow riders get a kick out of driving behind me in RH turns as I then have to hang like Randy Mamola...

I have had my K9 to 245 klm :eek:by the speedo on a very long smooth straight, my son on his Honda Repsol 1000 (full factory kitted) was beside me, i could not squeeze any more out of her and yes i did not get to the red on the tacko. once my son realised i was not going any faster he droped the Honda back a gear and took off leaving standing still. :loony:
It was a once off and i will never treat my Dog like that ever again. Scared the crap outta me, struggled to keep my feet on the pegs, mirrors were all twisted up, my eyes were watered up and my bum had acted like a suction cup to the seat.:roll:

120 and still had more. Don't know if it was my breath or if I shit my pants, but I swore to god I would never do that again. No wobble at all very smooth.

wow .nice to know what the k9 can do. the 140+ club WOW BIG KAHONAS indeed!:eek::2thumbs:
Doing 600+MPH for a living makes 140 not such a big feat. That being said, it is all in the setup and tuning, do that right and anyone can do 140+ on a K-9.

I guess if I was at a track or a controlled area, i"d go for it ,but the roads around here with potholes and critters I dont get past 100 mph before shutting her down.:cheers:

seems like there is a little difference above ground, but I guess the sudden stop on either would be the same:D I have looked all over the east coast and can only find a high of 70 posted speed limit:)

About 100 for me before I had to deal with traffic again. No wobble at all. Great thing is how fast it gets to 100 and still have gears to go!
