Highway riding, I can get 125 miles before I hit my reserve. Riding in town (St. Louis), I get about 105 miles before reserve.
I agree with Barhopper above. Plan on stopping every 100 miles if you need it or not!

I must have a problem, Tank ran out at 74 miles went to reserve and got gas.
3.2 gallons, That is only 23.125 mpg.
Cruising around town 2500-3000 rpm.
2008 mutt all stock except for baffles I took out of exhaust.
I'm waiting for it to cool down so I can go read the plugs.

You need to get it broke in some more. Make sure your air filter is clean. I am getting over a 100 mi. per tank. I ride hard and fast. Haven't run it til empty yet. I have the same pipe with baffles removed. Reading plugs these days with the fuel we have is not as reliable as it used to be. Are you running premium 92 octane or there abouts?

I am running 93 octane here in pennsylvinia. The sunoco does not have 94 anymore.
I'll have to get some more miles in and keep checking.
Dam job keeps getting in the way of my ride time. When I have off it rains all day. Haha

I pushed it too far once and Thank God for Reserve! I try to start looking at about 100 or 110 miles. I never liked pushing any bike.

I've got an 06 k9, outside of radius exhaust she is stock. At 120 miles I've usually got about a gallon left. I'm confident I could stretch her to 150 miles, but she would be on fumes. If I'm road tripping I stop for gas and a smoke every 100 miles. My ass usually is barking at the stock seat and needs a break.

When I first got it I was avg 38-39 mpg, but I've put on some weight since then and now I'd say I'm getting 35.

110 to 120 miles per tank, hard riding. Reserve good for at least 10 miles.
08 Mutt, V & H 2 into 2, 93 octane with no ethanol.

I am watching for a high octane fuel stop about 110 miles. I have pushed it farther but was holding my breath. The one time I did hit reserve it shut down like you turned the key off! I rode in yesterday a little over 120 miles, but will go straight to the pumps when I leave here, no messing around.

I averaged 45mpg this past weekend on a 300 mile (each way) road trip.

I'm 260 pounds and rode 2-up with my 120 pound wife.

If you're only gettin' 35mpg I wonder what's going on with your scoot?

Same here.

Got 47.3 on the trip that I took with Tat22er yesterday.

Was riding 1 up, but at 340 lbs, a rider would have put me over the bikes weight limit.

Had a great time, and had some spirited riding. Along with some spirits.

Thanks Mike, we all had a great time.

I wish that Liame could have gone with us.
Maybe next time.

I usually get 40 -50 mpg and get the low gas light at 131 + depending (have about 1 gallon left at that point) but I do notice after the light is on for a few miles, If I decelerate hard it starves the fuels injection and stalls the bike -- really annoying. But at least I've never run the dog out of gas yet. My best was about 166 miles at about 50mpg

I have went to 130 mi. and had been on reserve a short time. I have a Mutt with stock pipe and packing removed and internal baffle in the pipe. Don't know what my jetting is, bought the bike used. Almost sounds like you need to check jetting and intake filter.
