I had a SAS air suspension put on my bike and a spin drop, heads P/P, and a 600 cam, and carb work done on my bike. The maechanic called me and said that the motor and suspension are working great, but when he test drove it the speedo would cut out like it lost power. Then he tells me he traced back to the ECU and I will need a new updated version. Is there anyway to tell if I need a new one or if I just need a new speedo. I've read through some of the other forums here on BDB and I plan to check, clean, and water proof all the comections I've read about, but If the ECU is really bad then I don't want to waist my time doing all that stuff. I would really appreciate any feed back on this, as this is apparently not a cheap fix and if it doesn't need it, then I would rather save my money. Thanks Michael
