hose leaking oil ?

I'd say you need to replace the hose. 3/8 inch oil line hose fits. I just had to do mine. Fun removing the oetiker clamps.

It's a vent hose. Some people put the end of the hose in a little Jack Daniels bottle, or something to that effect. I ran mine up to my air cleaner.

Hi Les,

Assuming your oiling system is fine and cylinder heads are breathing properly (no clogged hoses), then try to measure engine compression. Why? Because worn piston rings will cause crank pressure to increase a bit, which in turn will blow out more oil out the vent.

I had the pleasant surprise to notice no oil blowby after I put on new rings. not a single drop.
