Have the Hooker Troublemaker chrome scallop on my K-9, but at these prices just ordered the fourbidden silver ceramic. Will just stick in attic until I get tired of the ones I have.

hooker decel sound

hey guys, im thinking about the great deal myself. wondering about the sound, i hate the decel pop of my VH BR's (K-9) but like the look, would the hooks be more of the same? Who's got pics of troublemakers? the website only shows the logo. thanks

Hell after I order the Fourbidden last night, got thinking today about the great deal and went a head and order a set of the trouble makers today.

Do like BrianLO and figure out which one I want and stick the other in the attic. Tending to lean towards the fourbidden since I have the feeling the 4 into one will allow me to gain a little more, but not sure how the metalic silver ceramic finish will look.

Hell of deal, basically getting two pipe for almost half of what it would have cost normally to get one.

the 4 biddens seem to be an above average performance pipe. seems like it gives some backpressure but still has a good sound. getting some pop on decel but must be suckin air at the head.

sure its not close to the gains of RB's LSR but for the money its :2thumbs:


Hoat's running a set also.

I am starting to regret joining this site, I just bought 3 Hooker pipes....
Forbidden, Widetail and Troublemakers....
Could not make up my mind so what the hell, 3 for the price of 1 !
......Not to mention I am spending a lot of time browsing through old threads with special thanks to Gas Man and all the great contributors to the site

I have sent them to my brother in Mionisotta, will pick them up mid April, can't wait to see the Troublemnakers on my Pitbull

You can get the hooker troublemaker pipes for about $190 shipped. If you ahve a 250 rear end I am pretty sure you can use the harley softail setup I did on my 04 chopper with V&H

Well you guys just keep costing me money..... got a set of rebel widetails and a set of troublemakers. UPS dropped them off today, two days shipping time, now I just have to decide which ones to put on the bike. Oh and if you call they will give you a few more dollars off the pipes and I got a break on the shipping as well. Hell both those sets with shipping was less than I paid for my mean mothers....... but if anyone else is going to get them better hurry, only had about a half dozen sets left.

Maybe someone will know and save me some work... If I change my pipes from
Hooker Troublemakers to Fourbiddens, will a jet change be needed?

Honestly, for the 100 it costs for a good tune I think it's worth it once a year. I've always gotten one every spring and never been upset about it!
