Thanks for all the compliments. I have to admit I had help from a friend on this. I will tell you that it does not deminish the feel of the ride, only keeps the face and chest from pressure. Just got back from 150 mile trip and I feel great.
I've had a few requests for the build and have fowarded the info via email and will do the same for anyone interested in making one. My cost was very little as all the materials were given to me except for the aluminum, (cost $20 at a metal fab shop). So feel free to request the specs and I'll send them right over to you.

WOW! Thanks Franco, Great blow ups. In regard to the plexi vs lexan, the plexi is easier to work with. I tried the lexan first but it doesn't work well with heat. The plexi will heat real easy and curv to the mold when placed.

WOW that reeely is a nice clean job, looks great, and it always seems to mean alot more to ya when U do it yourself, even if you have to screw up a few in the process, DOOOH not that you did, but gawd knows I have. :)

Heck no! you have the what I call my buddy,who is a machinist a " Machine eye"

Really you you did a dam good job.. Do you have any templates of what you made?
