Hole in oil line

I have an 08 Mutt with 4600 fun filled miles so far.
Last week my oil pressure warning light came on about a block from home. The day after this happened I noticed I had a small oil leak from the oil lines. I have taken the bike to the dealer and they found that the oil lines have rubbed against each other and a small hole has occured in one of the lines. Has anyone else experenced this problem?

i just had this same problem but have 17k miles on my 04 chopper. I called tompkins industries here in kc, gave them the length of the two lines and they fab'd them up for me in 1hr. it cost me $50.

Bike is still under warrenty so new lines and a piece that is supposed to keep the lines seperated is on the way from BDM. I plan on installing a guage when I get the bike back.
I never have liked just having the light.

I had the same thing happen on a hydraulic line on my Blackhawk helicopter back in the day.

you can use hose seperating clamps to keep them apart
