Hints on polishing the aluminum on the engine and bike?

Thanks for all the help guys, very much appreciated. I love my "new" 05 Ridgeback. It only has 1970 original miles and the old man i bought it from had it detailed and all the aluminum polished last year but i just want to maintain the shine it has.

Can that rubber button cover be replaced without major disassembly of the speedo?

Not Wood either but to answer your question, I don't believe any disassembly is required. I think you just "squeeze" the rubber button together and slide in from the front of the speedo glass. As others mentioned, I think Mr. Wright had them made. Good luck!
