Higher Handlebar

hey all I just put a set of 1 1/2" spacers on my 06 mastiff that my neighbor made for me out of alumium stock. They work great. I'm 6' 1" and it makes a huge difference. He drilled and tapped them for me and also made a second set with a straight thru hole. On the set that he tapped he got me 2 set screws so i could tighten in two places and still use the original bolts. He is going to make another set for me out of steel and then have 'em chromed. We talked about selling these and he was thinking about $50 a pair. Here are some pics.

Risers

Hey, my neighbor just finished a batch of risers that are drilled and tapped and chromed. They are in increments of 1", 1.5", and 1.75". Here are is pic of them in the box. Let me know if you are interested in a set.

Thanks Shawn! Got the risers you sent, installed! Wow, what a huge difference from 1.75"! My arms aren't stretched all the way down to the bars now, much more comfortable ride and remarkably, the bike feels more stable, not sure why but I'll take it! Awesome!

Just bought a new K-9 and would like to have a higher handle bar (3-5" higher)
Anybody any experience what bar to use ? Maybe from another Big Dog Mod. ?
Or do I have a custom bar made ?

06 Mutt? I think the other guy is correct that the Mutt did not come out till 08. The bars look great. I would love to get some for my 08 Ridgeback. If you could confirm what bars you have on you K-9 i would appreciate it..

You are correct, 2008 first Mutt.

am I wrong in understanding that the Mutt is a mish mash of previous parts like the frame is a 04-05? mastiff frame, chopper gas tank and so forth. nothing wrong with the bike dont get me wrong. just thinking.

The bars look great Peter. And love the rest of the mods as well. Hope to see it in person at Leesburg Bike Fest this year.

I hope I can make it to Leesburg, but very busy with work these days.
Was there with BBChopper last year and all the other BD, it was a blast and a great ride around Leesburg. :2thumbs::2thumbs:
