High beam problem

Hey guys, first timer but have enjoyed looking and learning a lot from this web site. I have a 2004 BDM chopper and seem to be having a problem w/ the high beam working off and on. One time it will work and the next it won't. I have check the connection on the bulb itselt and it is good. No obvious kinks or damage. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks Ryan:flag:

I would replace the bulb and do a complete check of the wires all the way to the connector under the gas tank. If that doesn't get it for you I would check the hand control maybe the board is going out on you or the wires are not making a good connection there.

I am sure someone else will come along and give you more scoop on this, being he there have been several threads on this.

Sounds like a potential EHC issue.

i have an 04 also.that is what my bike did just before,well you know i hate to say it but could be bye bye ehc.check all the other possibities first.like bulb and handle bar control board and wires.which ehc do you have?black or yellow?good luck.mobsta
