i have 05 bd chopper. just started to hear a rattle noise from primary. took it apart don't see anything obvious.sounds like it is coming from clutch area.replaced basket clutch pack and main shaft last summer.chain is properly adjusted.anyone have any ideas?

just a noise.never heard it before. i'm a tech myself i work on high end cars for a long time .it developed within two days may be 100 miles.don't want to blow it up.just curious if anyone had similar issues

Is your clutch lever getting soft and out of adjustment? Check clutch hub nut if loose get the updated hardened nut and washer directly from baker and torque to 150 ft/lbs with a lot of red loc tite

nothing is loose no adjustment issuses.some play between clutch plates and basket that make noise moving it back and forth.
